Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026.

1. Data kept on your device

• Location (GPS or a chosen city): used to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is never sent to a server.
• Preferences: language, calculation method, per-prayer offsets and notification settings.
• Content: bookmarks, last read position and downloaded audio.

This data stays in the app's private storage and is erased when you clear the app data or uninstall it.

2. Data that leaves your device

• Quran audio: when you play or download a recitation, the app requests the files from everyayah.com. As with any HTTP request, their server sees your IP address, timestamp and client identification. We do not send your name, e-mail or any user identifier.
• Nothing else is transmitted. The app has no backend of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.

3. Permissions

• Location (precise or approximate): prayer times and Qibla. Optional — you may enter a city manually.
• Notifications: prayer reminders.
• Exact alarms: so the reminder fires on time. If denied, reminders may be delayed by a few minutes.
• Internet: only to download recitation audio.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect data from children.

6. Security

Local data lives in the app's private area, protected by the Android sandbox. There is no server of ours to be compromised.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect data on servers, there is no remote data to access, correct or delete. To erase local data: Android Settings → Apps → Muslim Plus → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.

8. Changes
